Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This policy describes, in plain language, what Vizag Writers actually collects and how it's used. It is standard boilerplate and has not been reviewed by legal counsel — treat it as a good-faith summary, not a legal guarantee.
Information We Collect
When you register for an event, we collect your name, email address, and whatever answers you provide on that event's registration form. If you sign in to manage your registrations, we store your email address and display name.
For paid events, payment is handled either through Razorpay (card/UPI/netbanking) or, for some events, a manual UPI transfer verified by our team — in the manual flow we store the UPI transaction ID you provide and a screenshot of your payment confirmation, used solely to verify the payment.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process event registrations, send confirmation and ticket emails (including a QR code used for check-in at the event), verify payments, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your information to third parties.
How You Sign In
We use passwordless, email-based sign-in: you request a one-time link, and clicking it signs you in. We never store a password for your account.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to run the platform: Razorpay for payment processing, Resend for delivering emails (magic links, tickets, confirmations), and Amazon S3 for storing event images, QR code images, and payment screenshots. Each of these providers processes data only as needed to perform that specific function.
Data Retention & Your Choices
We keep registration and account data for as long as your account exists or as needed to comply with our legal and financial record- keeping obligations. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
